Gizelle, an excellent performance

The scene of the Azerbaijani State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre hosted the ballet "Giselle" by A. Adan with soloists of the State Academic Theatre of Russia, the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, laureate of the International Ballet Competition ,Chinara Alizadeh, (Giselle) and Honored Artist of Russia, the winner of international Ballet Competition and the Theatre Award "Golden Mask", Andrey Merkurev (Count Albert).

The audience, including the guests of European Games, praised Chinara Alizadeh’s professionalism, which affect not only in technology but also insight into the psychological complex image of its heroine.

They were also expressed by the excellent performance of Andrei Merkurev with his Alberto party - one of the most interesting and complex heritage in classical dance of male images.

The soloists of the Opera and Ballet Theater, Ayan Eyvazova (Myrtha), Anar Mikayilov (Woodward), Honored Artist Alsou Gimadiyeva and Jamila Kerimova, Julia Fershtandt (Giselle’s friends) made an excellent performance.

The ballet "Giselle" perfromed under the endless applause of the audience was another clear indication of that.
