TURKSOY organizes concerts of Turkic world composers

The International Organization of Turkic Culture, TURKSOY, has organized a series of concerts featuring works by composers from the Turkic world in the Black Sea region of Turkey.

Held in Ordu, Samsun and Trabzon, the concert saw performance by Azerbaijani soloist Nigar Jabiyeva and Turkish Demet Gurhan accompanied by Kazakhstan’s Karaganda Symphony Orchestra.

Celil said such projects were very important in terms of promoting the heritage of the Turkic composers.

The concert will also travel to Ankara, Bursa and Eskisehir.
