Baku takes in 'Potential 2' festival

"Potential 2" decorative and applied arts festival will be held at the "Art Villa" gallery in Baku on November 12.

The Festival will be held by the decorative and applied arts section of the Arts Council of Azerbaijan.

The Youth Foundation under the President of the Azerbaijan will provide financial support for the festival.

According to the organization, works of batik, tapestry, ceramics, decorative patterns, jewelry, and carpet will be exhibited at the festival.

Furthermore, the students of Baku Music Academy will also take part at the event.

The festival which will be accompanied by folk music aims at promoting decorative and applied arts varieties, contributing to the development of these national arts by raising interest in the new generation, and discovering creative people with great potential.

The festival will be a traditional and popular feast in the decorative and applied arts craftsmanship of the country.

The key object of the festival is to increase interest of the young generation in art and recognize and popularize Azerbaijani craftsmen.

The festival provides an opportunity for talented young craftsmen to present their work to the public.
