Experimental Theater Festival takes place in Baku

Azerbaijan’s capital hosts Experimental Theatre Festival under the name "2 +1”, imitated by the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.
To this end, a press conference was held at the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan. Theater expert, Dr. Maryam Alizade highlighted the event and its program.

As stated, the first festival was held in 2011. The festival aims at promoting the creative and art processes, activate the youth in theatrical sphere, and involve them in modern world theater tendencies.

According to the Union of Theatre Workers, the festival will be attended by 8 theatres. The best spectacle will be included in the theater bank of Theater Workers Union and recommended to the foreign theater festivals, Alizade said.
