French Pearl exhibition to be opened in Baku

The French Pearls exhibition will be opened on March 10, at the National Art Museum with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The main goal of the exhibition is to feature the works of numerous periods - from Renaissance up to now. The display will feature exhibits from the Louvre, Versailles and Orse museums.

The exhibition will be organized at the initiative of Minister of Culture and Communications of France Frederic Mitterand, State Museum Association, French Institute in Baku, the National Library of France as well as TOTAL Company.

Visitors can see the collections by Nandha, Caen, Rouen, Amiens, Strasburg, Dijon, Lion and Grenoble museums. The exhibition will feature 500 items. The works of French sculptor Auguste Rodin will be displayed at the event. The exhibition will last till May 6.
