
GDP produced within the first half-year of 2011, by enterprises and organizations, as well as individuals operating in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 22.5 bn, up 0.95 from a year earlier.
SCC says 66.2% of GDP fall to share of production areas (as well as 54.75 – industry, 6.95 – construction complex, 4.65 - agriculture), 27.95 – service areas (as well as 6.2% - transport, 8.7% - trade and paid services, 1.75 – communication, 11.4% - social and other services), 5.9% - net taxes on product and import.
GDP production per head made AZN 2,496.9 ($3,149.5), up 13% compared to previous year.
Note that, GDP production in non-oil sector rose 7.25 compared to previous year, dropped 5.1% in oil sector.
