Azerbaijan's Finance Minister receives USAID’s new mission director for Azerbaijan

Finance Minister of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov received new Mission Director for Azerbaijan for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Michael Greene.

Ministry said that current relations between USAID and Azerbaijan, as well as future cooperation directions were discussed at the meeting.

Speaking about USAID’s activity plan, Greene said that at the end this year, the mission would start "Support project for regional social-economic development". It was proposed to realize new project in health sphere.

In turn, FinMinister Sharifov said that the projects jointly financed by USAID and Azerbaijani government would afford ground for future cooperation.
