First meeting of ECO member states' health ministers underway in Baku

The first meeting of ECO member countries' health ministers has today started here.
The event, bringing together representatives from 10 countries, was opened by Azerbaijani health minister Ogtay Shiraliyev and ECO's Secretary General Mohammad Yahya Maroofi.

The meeting will culminate in adoption of Baku Declaration.

As part of the trip, the event participants will visit several medical facilities including National Oncology and Thalassemia centers.
