Turkey and Azerbaijan discussed prices for natural gas and development of fields.

These were major issues during talks between Turkish minister of energy and natural resources Taner Yildiz and SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) head Rovnag Abdullayev on July 10, ITAR-TASS reported.
"We discussed regulation of prices for purchase of fuel from Shah Deniz field and volume of future gas supplies from Shah Deniz-2 during the talks. Contacts continue but we have not signed the agreement yet," Yildiz said. He said that delegations need to work over figures concerning purchase price.
Earlier Azerbaijan said it intends to increase price for gas exported to Turkey. Presently, price is $120 per 1,000 cubic meters. "We submitted our proposals to Azerbaijan whom we expect to make response proposals, too," the minister said.
