Yuschenko denies discussing oil price with Azeri president

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko says he did not discuss with Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev the price of oil supplies to Ukraine.

"We didn't discuss the question of oil price, since this is one of the first sectors in Ukraine that have been liberalized. Today, no structure involved in crude supplies to Ukraine asks from which part of the world the crude is supplied, The crude may be from Russia, the Caspian region, or any other region of the world," he said.

He said this sector of the Ukrainian economy was liberalized two years ago.
