Transportation fees to fall after Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki-Kars operational

Transportation fees will fall by at least 30 percent after the Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki-Kars railway project is implemented.

"High transportation fees influence trade. Trade turnover is expected to increase after the construction of the railway. We are searching for the ways to increase trade turnover," Turan Morali, Turkish ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan told the APA.

Mr. Morali also said intergovernmental commission has discussed the organization of Azerbaijan-Turkey Trade House but specific measures have not been taken yet.
