Over 40 representatives from 12 member countries participated in the event organizer by OBSEC and Konrad Adenauer Foundation, APA reports. At the conference, presided over by the president of the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Foundation of Turkey Hilmi Develi, representatives of the participating countries gave information about works in the field of development of small and medium entrepreneurship (SME). The participants exchanged their opinions on this theme.
At the end of the conference a protocol of recommendations in the field of SME development was adopted.
Recommendations include continuation of measures on improvement of legal and economic condition for stable development of SME, development of entrepreneurship culture through education and information, organization of the Advisory Foundation to promote government-entrepreneurship dialogue, establishment of country and regional SEM unions to represent interests of the private sector, establishment of a working group for development of woman entrepreneurship, creation of the Young Business Leaders Forum in the states of the region, and collection and spreading of information on successful SME programs.
Issues on women and youth's participation in development of the private sector is planned to be discussed next events.
Azerbaijan was represented by the director of the Entrepreneurship development Department pf the Ministry of Economic Development Zaur Gasimov.
