IEA: "Oil prices may drop below $60 per barrel"

"World oil prices may drop below $60 per barrel in the near future," International Energy Agency Deputy Executive Director William Ramsay.

Current market trends make a drop in oil prices inevitable, he told Interfax.

The price for April futures for WTI crude during electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange was $62.00 per barrel as of 8:29 a.m. Moscow time March 16.
