Azerbaijani insurance market growth exceeds 5%

Twenty seven insurance companies working in Azerbaijan collected premiums worth 403.1 million manats in January-November 2015, the Azerbaijan Insurers Association said in a message Dec. 29.

This figure means a 5.3-percent growth in the country’s insurance market compared to the same period of 2014.

Meanwhile, from January to November 2015, the country’s insurance companies made insurance payments worth about 157.5 million manats (a 9.7 percent growth over the year).

Official exchange rate for December 29 is 1.5578 AZN/USD.
