
The State Securities Committee (SSC) of Azerbaijan, registered the fifth issue of unsecured interest-bearing book-entry registered bonds of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF), acting under the Central Bank amounting to 30 million manat, SSC said on Monday.
Some 30 000 bonds having a par value of 1.000 manat each are being issued and will be sold by offering to the public.
The first issue of unsecured interest-bearing book-entry registered bonds of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) was registered in June 2009. Some 55 000 bonds with a nominal value of 1.000 manat each and yielding three per cent per annum were registered. The offer was completed in January 2010 and the maturity date is December 11, 2019.
The second prospectus debentures of the AMF have been registered by the State Committee for Securities on December 30, 2009. The total sale volume is 75 million manat with an interest rate at 3.25 per cent per annum in nominal value of 1.000 manat. Placing this issue began in February 1, 2010.
The third issue of interest-bearing book-entry registered bonds secured by the AMF amounting to 60 million manat was registered in November 2010, with a yield of three per cent. The placement began on 17 January 2011.
The fourth issue of interest-bearing book-entry registered bonds secured by the AMF in volume of 20 million manat was registered on September 2011. Some 17 million manat from this amount is placed. Some 20.000 bonds with par value 1.000 manat each were produced. AMF placed bonds worth 77 million manat during 2011.
