GUAM countries’ border experts meet in Kiev

The meeting chaired by Azerbaijan, took place within the framework of the GUAM Governing Committee’s 13th meeting on trade and transport issues. The experts exchanged information about the proposals forwarded by the border agencies of the GUAM countries within the Eastern Partnership Initiative.

The considered it necessary to continue work toward the improvement of border control in GUAM corridor within the GUAM-US Framework Program and modernization of the border check points. The experts also discussed the possibility of use of OSCE model courses on identity check.
