Chess players from 11 countries to join "Baku Open 2010"

Baku Open 2010 International Chess Tournament kicks off in Novkhani settlement, close to Baku, on August 22. Group A matches will take place at AF Hotel, while group B plays will be held at Baku Chess Center. Some 156 chess players from Azerbaijan, United States, Ukraine, Israel, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, Russia, Egypt, Czech and Tajikistan will join the tournament.

Total prize fund is 60,000 USD. Azerbaijan will be represented by Anar Allakhverdiyev, Gadir Huseynov, Eltaj Safarli, Farid Abbasov, Azer Mirzoyev, Rauf Mammadov, Rasul Ibrahimov, Nijat Abbasov, Vasif Durarbeyli, Vugar Rasulov, Namig Guliyev, Sanan Dovlatov, Ulvi Bajarani and others.
