Mr. Abiyev said that so far two agreements have been concluded between the countries in the fields of common military cooperation and qualification of military specialists. Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan continue to cooperate successfully in the framework of CIS Defense Ministers' Council and NATO's Partnership for Peace program.
Abiyev said new agreements are needed to be signed for the continuation of the cooperation.
Isakov stressed that the continuation of cooperation between the defense ministries serve the interests of both countries.
"I believe that my visit to Azerbaijan will give an impetus to the strengthening of cooperation between our Ministries," he said.
Abiyev spoke about the military-political condition in the South Caucasus, Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and its results and gave information on deployment of a lot of illegal weapons and supplies in the Armenian-occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
"Azerbaijan intends to solve this conflict in the framework of international law norms and territorial integrity. We shall achieve this," he said. APA
