Azerbaijani diaspora in Finland marks Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis

Citizens of Turkey, Russia and Finland were also invited to the event. Chairman of Finland-Azerbaijan Association Vasif Muradli extended his congratulations to the guests on this occasion.

Deputy Chairman of the Association Arzu Oqtay noted that this day was officially declared Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis upon national leader Heydar Aliyev’s initiative and spoke about Aliyev’s merits in promoting national unification of 50 million Azerbaijanis living across the world, uniting them around the idea of Azerbaijanism as well as forming and developing Azerbaijani diaspora.

The event also featured live Azerbaijani music and national dances.
