Immigrants from Dagestan and Azerbaijan fought at Timiryazev food market in Moscow, a source in law enforcement agencies said. Two were injured as a result.
“Ten immigrants from Azerbaijan and Dagestan had a squabble. Police officers stopped the fight. Six of the most active participants of the fight have been detained,” a source said.
The fight, according to the source, was caused by the conflict between the two vendors as one failed to pay off a debt to another.
"As a result, 28-year-old immigrant from Azerbaijan was hospitalized with cut neck injury while his 40-year-old colleague was hospitalized with closed craniocerebral trauma," a source added.
