First congress of Azerbaijanis Congress of Sweden convenes

The first congress of the Azerbaijanis Congress of Sweden has been convened in Stockholm, which brought together 18 Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations of this country, the Congress said.
During the congress Emil Mirzeyev was elected the Chairman of the Board, and Elyar Maharramov, Arzu Rustamova, Gulnara Gasimova, Leyla Kiani, Aslan Arablovi and Gabil Nasirov - members of the Board. The congress approved the composition of control and revision commission and election committee.

The Congress was attended by the Azerbaijani ambassador to Sweden, Rafael Ibrahimov, embassy staff, the head of the European branch of the State Committee for Diaspora Ilham Mammadov and others.
