Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sport leaves for Jordan

Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov is in an official visit to Jordan.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sport Samaya Mammadova said that on October 12, 2009, the Government of Azerbaijan Republic and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan signed a Program on Executive Cooperation on science, education, culture, art, youth and sport, archeology and media for 2010-2012.

Moreover, during the official visit of King Abdullah II to Azerbaijan, Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic and Higher Council for Youth of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of the youth on May 16, 2010. Chairman of the Higher Council for Youth of Jordan invited Azad Rahimov to this country for discussing the issues related to the program and agreement.

The visit will last till April 21.
