Two Azerbaijanis announced as best wrestlers of the world in 2010

Azerbaijani wrestlers Hasan Aliyev and Khetag Gazyumov will be awarded by the President of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) Rafael Martinetti as they were named “the best wrestler of the year”.

FILA confers this title upon wrestlers who won the world, European and grand prix tournaments during a year. Hasan Aliyev claimed a European youth title in 2008 and 2009, world youth title in 2009, won European and world championship in 2010 and Golden Grand Prix in Baku.

Khetag Gazyumov became Olympic bronze medalist in 2008, European champion in 2009, world bronze medalist, European and world champion in 2010 and winner of the Golden Grand Prix in Baku.
