Head coach: I know at what level Turkish football is, and let them also know at what level Azerbaijani football is

Despite the defeat by Austria, the Azerbaijani national football team well prepared for the match with Turkey and gained victory, the chief coach of Azerbaijani national team Berti Vogts  said Tuesday to a press conference after the match with Turkey.

"I know at what level the Turkish football is, and let them also know at what level the Azerbaijani football is," said Vogts.

The chief coach named captain of Azerbaijani team Rashad Sadikhov the best player of the match. Vogts thanked fans for their support.  

Vogts also commented on unrealized moments during the match. "The Azerbaijani team is young, and I immediately told the players after the match that they would work on the implementation of moments," he said.

Vogts believes that the national team of Turkey will still show best game and gain the second place in the group.

Rashad Sadikhov's only goal in the 40th minute brought victory to the Azerbaijani national football team in domestic qualifying match with Turkey within 2012 European Championship.
