UEFA: Baku may host European Football Champiosnhip finals

UEFA may hold European Football Champiosnhip Finals in Baku, UEFA vice president Shenes Erzik said. A new stadium for 60,000 seats will be built in Baku, in the village Boyuk Shor. SOCAR finances construction of the stadium.

"We have familiarized with the draft of the new stadium in Baku. The current cooperation  between AFFA, UEFA and FIFA will allow to hold the finals at this stadium, " Erzik said.

UEFA vice-president participates in the 18-th Informal Conference of Sport Ministers of European countries. Over 36 representative of European countries arrived at the meeting, held once every two years.
