Azerbaijani wrestlers capture 14 medals

Junior European Wrestling championship wrapped up in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo. On Sunday, Azeri athletes won 2 more gold medals. Murad Mammadov (46 kg) defeated his rivals from Germany, Romania, Armenia and Hungary, capturing the gold, and becoming the Champion of Europe.

Rashad Shukurov (54 kg) defeated his armenian counterpart Tigran Abrahamyan in the decisive match. As of total, Azerbaijani freestyle, women and classic wrestlers won 14 medals (6 gold medals, 3 silver ones, and 5 bronze medals.)
