CSCA representative becomes world champion

The CISM (International Council of Military Sports) 50th World Military Shooting Championship is held in the City of Thun, Switzerland from May 30 to June 6.

Azerbaijan was represented by two sportsmen of the CSCA (Central Sports Club of the Army) First Lieutenant Ruslan Lunev and Nigar Nasirova at the championship.

Azerbaijani representative Ruslan Lunev, who competed in 25 meters Rapid Fire Pistol shooting event, ahead of athletes from Estonia and China won a gold medal and became the world champion.
