Azerbaijani kickboxing fighters claim 8 medals at WAKO European Championships

Azerbaijani kickboxing fighters have won a clutch of 8 medals, including 2 gold medals in the WAKO European Championships for juniors and cadets in San Sebastian, Spain.

The gold medals came from Chingiz Ahmadzade and Zohrab Azimov in the 51kg lou kik and 60kg lou kik event respectively.

Elmir Suleymanov won silver medal in the 71kg full-contact event, while Kamran Bayramov in the 60kg full-contact, Elvin Maharramov 71kg full-contact, Giyas Shahmardanov 54kg lou kik, Nijat Nejefzade 45kg K-1 and Nejmeddin Mammadzade 51kg K-1 events grabbed bronze medals of the Championships.
