Azerbaijani para-taekwondo fighters win 4 medals at world championships

Azerbaijani fighters have won four medals, including a gold in the 5th WTF World Para-Taekwondo Championships in Moscow, Russia.

Nijat Muslimov weighing in at 75kg claimed gold medal, while Alexandr Polishuk scooped bronze.

Azerbaijani female fighters Bahar Shikhaliyeva and Aynur Mammadova won silvers in the 49kg at 58kg divisions respectively.

The championships brought together fighters from 40 countries.

Azerbaijan ranked 4th in the overall medal table.
