Azerbaijan completes Golden Gran Prix with 11 medals

The Golden Gran Prix dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev ended in Baku yesterday. Freestlye wrestlers appeared on the rug on the last day of tournament. Azerbaijani team represented with 23 sportsmen, seven of whom made the way to final. 
 
Final in 96 kg between Olympic champion Sharif Sharifov and world vice-champion Khetag Gazyumov was in the center of special interest. Gazyumov succeeded the victory. Ahmadnabi Gvarzatilov (60 kg), who beat another Azerbaijani rival Haji Aliyev and Gamzat Osmanov (84 kg) claimed the gold medal, as well. 
 
The winners of silver medals were Yashar Aliyev (55kg) and Ali Isayev (120 kg), while Ruslan Dibirhajiyev (66 kg), Jabrail Hasanov, Ashraf Aliyev ( both 74 kg) and Jamaladdin Mahammadov (120 kg) garnered the bronze medals of the contest.
