Azerbaijani women wrestlers to vie in Minsk Int'l tournament

Azerbaijan will vie for medals at the 43rd international Alexander Medved free style and women`s wrestling tournament to be held in Minsk, Belarus, early March.

Azerbaijan`s squad will include Patimat Bagomadova, Anjela Dorogan, Yarina Dubovska, Irina Netreba, Yuliya Ratkevich, Sona Ahmadli, Anna Belyayeva, Natalia Palamarchuk, Darya Korin, and Sabira Aliyeva.
Azerbaijani Olympic category referee Ajdar Jafarov will officiate at the tournament as a FILA representative.

Following the tournament the Azeri wrestlers will have a 12-day joint training camp with Belarus as part of their preparations for the European championship.
