Azeri boxers make successful start at world championship

Azerbaijani boxers successfully started world championship among the students holding in Baku Sports Palace. Azerbaijani National team was represented by 4 boxers on the 3rd day of the tournament.

Winner of European Championship Salman Alizade (49kg) faced Russian Magomed Ibiyev. The Azeri boxer defeated his competitor by the score 15:7. Another boxer of the National Team Javid Chalabiyev (56kg) faced Turkish boxer and won the match by the score 13:9.

Bronze medalist of European Championship, participant of the London-2012 Summer Olympic Games Heybatulla Hajaliyev also defeated Turkish athlete Ural Qarslioglu 11:3.

Finally, Emin Ahmadov fought against Ukrainian boxer Taras Makarov and won 15:14.
