Azerbaijani coach named 'World's Best'

Head coach of the  Azerbaijani Wrestling Team Firdovsi Umudov was announced the best in the world at the seminar of the coaches in wrestling running in Sofia.

 The president of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles, also known in French as Fédération Internationale des Luttes Associées (FILA),Raphaël Martinetti, said that  Umudov become the best coach in the world in 2012.

Umudov been awarded by the Technical Committee of FILA, which oversees the work of coaches throughout the year.

The seminar also discussed the performance of Azerbaijani sportsmen in the last four years, and London Olympic champions Togrul Asgarov and Sharif Sharifov were named as one of the best athletes.
