Azerbaijani powerlifter wins world crown

Azerbaijani powerlifter Hafiz Verdiyev weighing in at 100 kg has claimed the world championship title in Las Vegas, US. Other Azerbaijani powerlifters Azer Aliyev, Giraf Aliyev and Ibrahim Ibrahimov shared 4th, 5th and 6th places accordingly in the tournament.
