Azerbaijan brings number of Olympic medals to 32 in total

Azerbaijan has completed the Olympic Games with two gold, two silver and six bronze awards ranking 30th in the 30th Summer Olympic Games.

According to the results, Azerbaijan is 15th among European countries and 5th among post-Soviet countries in London.

Among Turkic speaking countries, Azerbaijan falls behind only Kazakhstan. The Turkic speaking counties including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Uzbekistan have secured 12 gold, 5 silver and 15 bronze medals all together, bringing the number of Olympic medals to 32 in total.
