Azerbaijan to mull issue of falsification of sport games’ results

 Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov will participate in the 12th Council of European conference of ministers responsible for sport in Belgrade, Serbia, on March 15.

The ministers will discuss the promotion of integrity in sport to combat match-fixing, and in particular the pros and cons of negotiating an international convention compared to continuing with co-operation based on existing conventions, complemented by decisions and non-binding legal instruments.

The second part will deal with political issues of pan-European co-operation and strengthening the monitoring capacities of the Convention on Spectator Violence.
