Brother murders his sister in Baku

Terrible murder occured in Azerbaijan's capital, Yasamal District Prosecutor’s Office said. The incident occured on Tuesday at 18.00 in Murtuza Mukhtarov street.

Baku city resident, Elsever Mammadov, 28, stabbed his sister Rufane Mammadova with a knife. Police officers arrested Mammadov immediately. During interrogation Mammadov confessed to the murder. Reportedly, the reason for the murder was a matter of honor. Yasamal District Prosecutor's Office launched a criminal case on the fact. Investigation is underway.
