
The State Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection Service under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry revealed irregularities in the sale of electrical appliances during the monitoring of the enterprise in the Sabunchu district of Baku, the ministry reported.
The electrical appliances assembled in this plant were offered to customers as the Turkish production and labeled under the El-Bi's company brand. The service also revealed the sale of lighting equipment made in Turkey under the Bdy-Kalmaksan brand without warranties. Generators Bronco made in China were offered to customers without a certificate of conformity.
The monitoring revealed electrical appliances of unknown. Regarding the irregularities, the service has instructed the enterprise to suspend sales and seize from retail 104,000 items of fake electrical appliances, 749 units of lighting brands Bdy-Kalmaksan, 115 units of generators Bronco, and 13 electrical regulators El-Bi.
