Gay killers detained in Azerbaijan

Three suspected in murder of homosexuals in Baku were detained, Yasamal District Police Office told APA. Residents of Baku – Zaur, Gahraman and Magsad were detained as a result of operational searches conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry, Baku Head Police Office and Yasamal District Police Office at about 04.00 (local time) last night.

During the preliminary interrogation, the suspects admitted an offense and said they purposely killed two homosexuals. Earlier, according to Vesti.Az, on 11th of August, a doble murder took place in Baku's Yasamal district, according to 27th Police department. According to the reports, 2 male bodies were discovered, with numerous stab wounds, possibly from knives. The dead turned out to be homosexuals. One of the victims had 7 stab wounds, the other one had 5.
