Jordanian students awarded Heydar Aliyev scholarships

Two students studying in the famous university of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan - University of Jordan were awarded the scholarships named after Heydar Aliyev, the Azerbaijani embassy in Jordan reported.
Azerbaijani Ambassador Elman Arasli attended the ceremony organized in the University of Jordan. Arasli spoke about the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev and his rich political heritage.

Regarding the Azerbaijani-Jordanian relations, Arasli stressed the exceptional contribution made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Jordan's King Abdullah Ibn Hussein in the long development and expansion of cooperation between the two countries.

Arasli handed over scholarships to second year student of medical school Imad Dicke and second year student at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dua Su'ud and wished them success in their further studies. The students have expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani President and the Azerbaijani government for attention.

Rector of the University H. Karaki also expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President, stressing that the presentation of scholarships will play the role of another bridge in the Azerbaijan- Jordan relations.
