Unexploded mines found in SOCAR area

Old unexploded ordinances have been found in an area owned by the Azerbaijan State Oil Company in Lokbatan settlement in Garadagh district of Baku.

Engineers of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) revealed 34 tank and artillery shells of various calibres in the area.

Three of the shells were defused because of arisky transportation with the rest of the shells being taken away from the site.
