Urban life horrors in Baku: Trees getting chopped down with an excuse - PHOTOS

That’s right, another “tree cleansing” took place in Baku, on the Tebrizi street to be precise, in the Narimanov district of the capital. Trend Life correspondent managed to snap shot the cutting, how ever the reaction from the “lumberjacks” was very negative.

Turns out, that the cutting of trees was organized and carried out due to road expansion in the area, according to the information from the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan.

“Trees that we managed to dig up and move, were planted again. But those which weren’t dig up, had to be cut down”, said the temporary press secretary of Ministry of Environment Amil Sefiyev.
