Avirtel creates metro network in Azerbaijan

The Avirtel company started to create a metro network to arrange a direct connection of large companies with their subsidiaries. Avirtel CEO Ismail Shabani said large companies, banks, Internet service providers and customers of Toll Free Avirtel can connect to the metro network.

"In the near future Aztelekom will grant us permission after we will begin work on connecting Imishli, Zagatala, Jalilabad and other regions to the network. Masalli, Astara, Shaki and Khachmaz have connected to a network since early this year.”

Shabani said that under the terms of the contract with Delta Telecom, Avirtel rents Internet ports in the region and expands its regional network.
