Laws Azerbaijan will adopt soon to eliminate shortcomings in education system: MP

“There are some shortcomings in Azerbaijan’s science,” Azerbaijani parliament’s Science and Education Committee Chairman Shamsaddin Hajiyev said. He was commenting on an article entitled “Social and human Sciences: view in the context of time” by academician Ramiz Mehdiyev

“Training of scientific workers, academic theses, teaching social sciences, in particular, philosophy, curriculum and discipline need to improve. I think that this article is a some kind of a task. This means the state assigns us to eliminate these shortcomings and we are obliged to comply with it,” Hajiyev said.

“On the other hand, such shortcomings are due to lack of necessary legislative framework. There are shortcomings also in terms of presentation of a thesis and mechanism of earning a degree. Once the Law on Eucation and Law on State  Scientific and Technical Policy are adopted, these shortcomings will gradually be eliminated,” Hajiyev added.
