OIC and European ministers responsible for culture to continue intercultural dialogue in Baku

Spokesperson for the Culture and Tourism Ministry Zohra Aliyeva said this event will be held as part of the VI Conference of Culture Ministers of the OIC countries to take place from Oct. 13 to 15.

The conference is held in the capital of Azerbaijan as Baku was declared Islamic culture capital 2009 in the fifth such conference in Tripoli in 2007.

Baku has already held major events as the International Mugam Festival, days of culture of Morocco, Jordan and Qatar, "East-West” Film Festival, International Book Fair. International culinary and dance festivals are expected to be  held.

On Oct. 16-17, 26th  conference of the Permanent Council of Culture Ministers of the Organization TURKSOY will also be held in Baku.
