Parliament committee discusses the education law - UPDATED

The parliament education and science committee began discussion on the draft law on education in the third reading, APA reports.

According to APA, the document was presented by committee chairman Shamseddin Hajiyev.

He said the project consists of 6 sections and 47 articles. The work on the project will take into account all opinions and suggestions.

After discussions the draft law was recommended for consideration at the urgent session of Milli Medjlis on June 19.

Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, chief of the parliament administrative office Sada Mirzayev, vice speaker Bahar Muradova, university rectors and ministry officials are participating in the discussions. The draft law was submitted to the committee by Shamsaddin Hajiyev. He said all opinions and proposals were taken into consideration in the six-chapter and 47-article draft law.
