Armenian soldiers, surrendering themselves prisoners to Azerbaijani sidecalled on official Yerevan to avoid from launching false information about them

"Despite we were not treated in Armenia, we received treatment in Azerbaijan and we have no health problem now", according to ANS-Press.

Leaders of Armenian Army who were unmasked by its soldiers voluntarily passed to Azerbaijani side began to launch now false information, saying allegedly the soldiers had lost their way and happened in Azerbaijani side by mistake and they gave interviews under pressure, to get out of the situation.

Chief of Press service of Armenian Defense Ministry Seyran Shahsuvaryan first stated about it. To him, the Armenian soldiers undergo moral and psychological pressure in Azerbaijan.

But the Armenian soldiers meet such claims in wonder. At least, the recorded footages confirmed they did not undergo any pressure in Azerbaijan. Grant Markosyan, one of the hostages who knew Russian more or less said he did not regret even once for he had passed to Azerbaijani side: “I can swear that we feel fine here. Azerbaijanis do not use even a finger to injure us, they neither humble over us. We have received medical treatment here. Last night we said we had toothache, they took us to the doctor’s at once”, Armenian hostages said.

Remind that, the Armenian soldiers passed to Azerbaijani side on February 28. They all had health problems when they arrived in Azerbaijani side. They received serious medical treatment in Azerbaijan and removed their health problems. The soldiers confirm this as well.

The soldiers commenting on allegedly they had lost their way before arriving in Azerbaijan reject the misinformation by official Yerevan. According to Grant Markosyan they had health problems but could not get treatment in Armenian army. “We went to hospital but ran away from there and came to Azerbaijan. We knew where we were going. We knew also that Armenia is located in the adverse direction of Azerbaijan. We came to Azerbaijan to be sent to the third countries. Information related with our losing way is wrong”.

The Armenian soldiers brought an argument to prove they came to Azerbaijan voluntarily and had opportunity to run away: “A woman met us in the Azerbaijani side. We could easily kill her if we had intention to run away. But we asked her to phone the relevant authorities to take us. The woman offered us food and invited to her house. We calmly had lunch there, smoked, then military men came to take us”.    

The hostages called on Armenian leadership. Grant Markosyan said that if they were asked to serve in Armenia they would agree. “But Qarabaq is not our land. I want to say to the leading authorities that I had come here voluntarily! And I had not anything bad. Thus that’s enough to speak bad about us. Such statements cause bad for themselves as well. They know what people think about them. That is why they launch such statements. I call on them not to make such statements anymore”.

Rafik Tevosyan also called on official Yerevan to avoid from launching relevant false information about them. “Let them not speak badly about us in Armenia. Let them take off their hands from us! Let them forget about us! Let them consider we do not exist for them! We are here as Azerbaijani citizens and we do not to return to Armenia any more!” Tevosyan said.  

Remind that, the Armenian hostages applied to be sent to the third countries. Their request is being investigated by Azerbaijani leadership presently.
