Execution of court decisions against Yeni Musavat and Azadlyg newspapers suspended

Court decisions on the claims of private persons were passed against Yeni Musavat newspaper in 2004-2007 and against Azadlyg newspaper in early 2007. The newspapers were do refute their articles and pay fines. At that period the newspapers published the refutations and paid insignificant sums for neutralization of financial sanctions.

The financial sanctions on the Bizil Yol newspaper were not applied in the said period. By court decision the Bizil Yol newspaper was to publish a rebuttal in connection with one its articles. The newspaper, publishing the rebuttal, executed the court decision, in the result of which the execution list was closed.
