Security measures taken in several mosques of Baku

"After the recent events measures are taken to strengthen security of the religious people in mosques", said the official of the press service for the state committee.

He said this does not imply any restrictions in fulfilling namaz.

"Namaz is not allowed to fulfill in the yards of the mosques and adjacent areas for the purpose of ensuring security of the religious people. This implies all the mosques which have yards.

In order to strengthen security measures and ensure public order it is prohibited to pray in the yards of the mosques and adjacent areas as it has been done before", said the source.
