Azerbaijani conductor performs in Austria

The performance of Eyub Kuliyev, a young conductor and laureate of international contests and presidential scholar, with two famous Czech musical bands-Philharmonic orchestra or Brno city and Czech virtuosos orchestra, was held in Austrian Reichenau on August 23 in the framework of the events on closing of the 18th international music festival.

The repetitions were held in Czechia, while the concert was held in one of the ancient historical monuments of Austria-Schloss Reichenau palace.

The program of the concert included works of Wagner, Sibelius, Britten and Shostakovitch. The concert was largely covered by Austrian periodicals and was marked as "one of the most successful projects of the festival".

After the performance, head of the Czech virtuosos orchestra, professor Karel Prokhosko invited Eyub to perform in Czechia in the framework of the concert program of the works of Azerbaijani composers.

It should be noted that Kuliyev's visit to Czechia and Austria was arranged under support of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijani embassy to Austria.
